My husband, oldest son, and I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at C&C Supper Club in Fish Creek, Wisconsin (in the heart of Door County) during a recent trip to Door County.
The building houses a supper club for dining along with a bar with games and live entertainment on many weekends.
We were very hungry when we arrived so we went directly to the dining room to eat. We were offered a table near the large fireplace in the dining room. It was a nice cozy place to sit on the cool fall evening we dined there.
The dinner entrees at the restaurant come with a choice of potato, soup or salad, and bread. In addition, the supper club has an extensive wine collection they have a suggested wine for each of the entrees they offer.
One of our diners opted for soup with his meal and ordered the French Onion soup. He said it was delicious and that it tasted how French onion soup should taste, with a thick hearty soup base, a piece of crusty French bread placed on top of the soup, and topped with bubbling hot cheese.
The other members of our dining party had salad instead of soup. The restaurant has 4 distinct salad choices; a house salad with your choice of 12 dressings; an iceberg wedge with choice of dressing; beefsteak tomato slices with bleu cheese; and a spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. We had the house salad and spinach salad. Both were very good and had a pretty presentation.
Two of us decided on the Alaskan King Crab Legs as our main entrée. They were a great choice. The crab legs come pre-split so which makes it much easier to pull out the sweet crabmeat and dip it into the melted butter that was provided. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t get all the crab legs finished before they started to get cold.
The other member of our dining party had the surf and turf, of which there were several options. He chose prime ribs and shrimp. Both items were cooked to perfection and tasted very good. The rosemary baby red potatoes that he chose to have with his meal were also very good.
The bread that came with the meal was also very good. Our only complaint was that it was served cold. The bread would have tasted even better had it been served warm.
For dessert one of our dining party had an ice cream drink, the restaurant’s purple hooter which was a combination of vanilla ice cream, raspberry liquor, and crème de cocoa. It was served in tall glass and was topped off with whipped crème and red sprinkles. The other two members of our dining party tried the raspberry éclair cake for dessert. It was a rich dessert that tasted a lot like cheesecake. It had a mousse filling, raspberries, and éclair puffs in it, and was topped with pecans. It was very good.
The meal, including dessert and beverages and tip was a little over $100 for three people and we felt it was well worth the money. Everything we had tasted good and was of good quality. It’s a good place to have a relaxing dinner when you’re in Door County.

Organic Tea, Exactly What is Organic
The word “organic” seems simple enough but can be confusing for consumers. Here is an inside look at the standards and laws governing this important group of products, particularly tea.
What exactly determines if a product is grown organically?
In 1990, Congress passed the Organic Food Production Act (OFPA) requiring the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to develop national organic standards. The National Organic Program (NOP) and OFPA developed regulations requiring products labeled “organic” originate from farms, or handling facilities, that are certified by either State or private agencies that have been accredited by the USDA.
The regulations further state that farms, or handling facilities may not use any of the following in production or handling;
•Genetic Engineering
•Ionizing Radiation
•Sewage Sludge
Organic crops must be grown without the use of;
•Most conventional pesticides
•Petroleum based fertilizers
•Sewage sludge-based fertilizers
How are imported organic products regulated?
•The USDA is required by OFPA to review the certification programs under which imported organic products are produced.
•Certifying agents in foreign countries must apply for USDA certification.
•In lieu of USDA certification, foreign governments can assess and accredit certifying agents, under NOP requirements, with USDA approval.
•An equivalency agreement negotiated between the US and a country’s government may also be used in lieu of certification.
What are “organic” labeling standards?
Organic labeling is the simplest part of the certification process and the aspect that is most confusing for consumers. While many times “organic” on a label means you pay more, what is the meaning behind the label? The standards are based on the percentage of organic ingredients in a product, and by law must be identified like this;
•Products labeled “100 % organic” must contain only organically produced ingredients.
•Products labeled “organic” must consist of at least 95% organically produced ingredients.
•Both may display the USDA Organic Seal.
•Processed products that contain at least 70% organic ingredients can only use the phrase “made with organic ingredients”.
•Processed products that contain less than 70% organic ingredients cannot use the term “organic” other than to identify the specific ingredients, on the ingredients list, that are organically produced.
So what does all this mean to US tea consumers? Since tea is grown outside of the US certification is almost always done by foreign agents. It has become increasingly important for consumers concerned about how their teas are grown to be comfortable with their tea supplier. Bio terrorism laws have impacted tea importation by looking more closely overall at what and who are importing products into this country, particularly food products. While these laws can sometimes impede the smooth flow of tea to us from overseas it may be beneficial overall to consumers due to the “closer look” of the FDA.
Converting gardens and estates to organic farming is a costly and lengthy process and sometimes not even a consideration for small farmers. In some cases farmers are already doing a lot right, but lack the knowledge or funding necessary to become certified. There is an effort by the US tea industry to educate growers on the benefit both economically and ecologically for growing teas organically.
Quality, from a taste perspective, has been an issue with organic teas. Gardens converting to organic farming have challenges, short and long term, producing teas that taste as good. As processes continue to improve an d farmers gain more experience, quality and taste are improving.
As an importer and supplier of premium teas one of our major responsibilities is knowing the production standards and philosophies of the gardens we work with. Securing quality, organic teas with outstanding taste characteristics can be challenging but more become available each season.

Online Games: How to Play to Win
Learn how to improve your playing quality and even overall understanding of online gaming and how you perform while playing online. Gaming online is a huge business nowadays and that means that there are millions of people worldwide at online game sites all the time. Many are people just like you and me that like to play online and have fun doing it. Some of these people enjoy it so much, that they often do not even care about improving their skill and raising their chances of winning.
So Why Should You Work on Your Game?
Working on skills will not only help you improve your success while playing online games but will also give you higher self-esteem and a sense of achievement. And remember that the faster you master the easy games, you can turn to the more complicated ones and match your brain and skills against the real experts.
How to Improve Your Online Gaming Skills?
Online playing is different than just playing on your personal computer at home. While online, you have to pay attention to many different things that need to be taken into account, and I will detail these here:
1) Internet Connection: Pay attention to your online connection and make sure that the internet connection is strong and without any connection breaks. These can be done easily by trying to play a simple online game before moving on to the more serious ones. For example, play scrabbles or checkers online and then see how your connection works.
2) The Graphics: Check that your PC screen is strong enough to run the specific game you have in mind. Download the trial and play it on your computer. If you can't run or if it does not run smoothly, be aware that though the online version is less of a strain on the resources of your computer, the game might get stuck or stall from time to time. What can you do? Other than spending money on improving the hardware of your computer, the only thing you can do is to pick another game.
3) Limit your game time: One of the most important facts that young players tend to overlook is that they cannot play forever. The body needs sleep and even though it might appear or one might not feel tired, your performance drops as the hours pass by. It is important also to (if the game permits it) try and drink water while playing and not Coca Cola or Pepsi or anything else sweet or alcoholic. These will only make you more sleepy than before even if for the first few minutes it will feel as if they are invigorating you.
4) Game Plans: Have a look at how others are playing before you join the fray. Study the manner how the game moves and how others hide or move. Even if you end up playing against other players, eventually the nooks and corners of the game are similar. Remember that people tend to move in similar fashion so the whole point is to get a whiff of game movement.
5) Strategy: Look up different strategic models and systems offered and posted on the internet. Your players might use some of these and if you are aware of them it will be easier for you to block their moves.
Conclusion:
By preparing yourself for the online gaming experience you do not lose anything. In fact, it works quite to the contrary. Think of it just like in terms of playing at online casinos and not at game sites. You would not play for money without researching it before, would you?

Online: List of the Most Graphic
Online casinos are plenty and they differ when it comes to the amount of games, customer service, free cash they hand out and many other features that pertain to the legally binding contract between the player and the casino. But there are other features that are usually ignored by those reviewing the many online casinos available online, and it is precisely one of these features: the graphic quality of the site, that we have examined.
Want to play online games and have a great time? Play at these graphically enhanced online casinos:
1) Golden Casino
Offering new casino software and a bonus of 555 dollars would be enough to want me to play there, but once I downloaded the game system, I gasped. The layout of their hall reminds me of that of Caesars Palace, and once, you start playing (with life-like images) you fell as if you were standing in a real casino! And, as if that was not enough, the tables are covered with a lace-like surface that increases the casino ambience and takes it to another level completely. In addition, Golden Casino is loosely affiliated with some of the top names in the casino industry today such as Golden Palace and others.
2) Crystal Palace
Striking because of its blue contours and curves, Crystal Palace not only offers a graphic display that reminds you of a desert oasis or a car rally, but it also uses a correct and colourful combination of colours in order to create the total graphic experience. It is not enough that their games are fast, flash-oriented and versatile, each one can be played using different graphic displays and settings thus boggling the mind with peace that helps you concentrate solely on the game you are playing. They are one of the major slot machine initiators, and their slots are perfectly matched between a light and slot experience.
3) Club USA Casino
Appearing at first hazy and blurry with a tinge of dark green, you will not even hope for what comes next. Once you download the games, sign up and login, please keep your mouth closed. They give you seven hundred dollars for the chance of floating through casino space. In addition, their graphic display is set up in such a way that each block supersedes the one that came before it, thus, creating a window-like graphic view where each object stands out more than the one behind it.
4) Royal Vegas Casino
Vegas online has come alive. Yes. That is what you feel when you start playing through this online casino. The lights are real, the machines too and if that was not enough, the graphics are unbelievably custom-made for those who have been to Las Vegas. The strip is just as it would appear if you were standing at the corner.
5) Roxy Palace
Designed to copy the feel of a casino entrance with its huge amount of lights and neons, Roxy Palace takes another step forward when it comes to the graphic game display that they offer. Each game has a different ambience, and the graphics are so clear and well-defined that you can even make out the writing on the billboards.
Conclusion:
When I want to play at online casinos I look out for those online casinos that offer a high graphic interface. And each of the above online casinos are graphically designed to ensure you enjoy a great online casinos experience. Pick one of them and enjoy your online gaming experience.

Omaha Steaks – Possibly The World’s Finest Steaks
Among the finest sources for steaks available, Omaha Steaks is renowned for providing high quality beef and gourmet products to customers across the country and around the world. Their name is well-known among cooks and grillmasters thanks to their continued commitment to providing the best food available. And Omaha Steaks works to make sure that they deliver on that commitment.
Starting in 1917, Omaha Steaks built its reputation on supplying high quality Midwestern steaks to people and businesses looking for choice cuts of excellent beef. This family owned business started out in Omaha, Nebraska and has kept its headquarters there throughout its history and expansion. And this expansion has seen the business stretch into areas including food service, mail order, incentive marketing, telesales, retail and even online sales. And with each successive step, Omaha Steaks further cements its reputation as the place to turn to when looking for quality beef.
However, despite their name, beef is not the only thing on offer from Omaha Steaks. In fact, they also provide very good selections of poultry, veal, pork and lamb and have even moved into offerings of pastas, side dishes and desserts for their customers. And as Omaha Steaks continues to grow, they will undoubtedly expand into new areas of food offerings, giving their customers even more options when they look to Omaha Steaks. And with this wide selection, customers can put something on the menu for those people who want something tasty, but don’t want it to be as heavy as steak.
In order to serve their customers better, Omaha Steaks provides a few ways to shop. The most common method for purchasing Omaha Steaks’ products is through their mail order and online business. Their steaks are shipped to ensure delivery within seven days of going out, so they will still be fresh when they arrive. Omaha Steaks takes every precaution to ensure that their food is just as good when it arrives as the day it was packed. Which means that your purchases will be consistently excellent.
However, some areas have access to Omaha Steaks through their retail stores. This growing portion of the business is not as large as their mail order and online services, but it is expanding as the company moves into new markets. This not only allows people to have a more personal experience while they are choosing just the right steak, but also gives people the opportunity to take their selections home immediately and get them on the grill in no time. And, as you would expect, their retail stores provide the same level of quality and commitment to excellence as every other portion of their business.
By taking pride in their service and the quality of their products, Omaha Steaks has moved from a small business in Nebraska to a multinational company providing its customers with a wide selection of foods that have them coming back again and again. And by taking care to take care of their customers, Omaha Steaks is making sure that they are always worth coming back to.

Nutritional Value Of These 7 Key Fruits
Fruit is a great way to start eating more nutrition and eating at least five to nine servings can make a big difference in the way you feel. Some fruits are more nutritionally valuable than others. We will discuss some of the most nutritious fruits and why they are so good for you.
A is for Apple
We have all heard the expression, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". This might not be entirely true, but eating apples is a great way for you to get the fiber you need in your diet. They are delicious and readily available all year around. Apples also contain pectin and that aids in lowering the bad cholesterol. They are also known to contain flavenoids that are beneficial to fighting cancer. It is better to eat a fresh apple rather than drink apple juice. The reason behind this is that some of the nutrients and important minerals may be lost during the processing.
A is also for Apricots
Apricots are chock full of zinc, folic acid, vitamins A and K, calcium and protein. They are also very high in beta carotene, fiber and potassium. Apricots are often found on the top ten lists for fruits and you can purchase them fresh, canned or dried. Eating dried apricots will give you an excellent source of essential nutrients. If you are going to purchase dried apricots, it is good to read the label. You will want to avoid those dried apricots that are laden with chemicals and preservatives. The best place to purchase dried apricots or any other dried fruit is from a health food store or a natural market. You will find a large selection of tasty treats that contain no additives; just the valuable nutrients you need in order for your body to perform in peak condition.
An Avocado is a Fruit Too
Many people mistakenly think of avocados as a vegetable when in reality they are a fruit. An avocado is considered a "super fruit" and is loaded with zinc, riboflavin, thiamin and niacin to name just a few of the important nutrients that an avocado has. Avocados are great for growing kids. Those who are conscious of their weight may want to forgo avocados because of their high calorie content. They also have a high fat count, but it is the heart healthy monounsaturated fats such as the Omega 3 fatty acid, an important brain food. Avocados can be eaten fresh after they have been peeled, or can be made into guacamole by adding garlic, onions and tomatoes.
Start Monkeying Around
Bananas are high in potassium and can aid in those people who take such medications as diuretics which are known to deplete the potassium from your body. They are easily mashed for easy consumption for babies and toddlers and because you have to peel one before you eat it, they will not contain pesticides that many other fruits are vulnerable to. A banana is a handy snack for eating on the go and keeping a supply of them in your home will make snack time a snap.
Blueberries
For many years, blueberries have been thought of as a tasty summertime treat. We now know that blueberries can pack a lot of punch because of the anthocyanin, a cancer fighting antioxidant that can be found in the skin. They are a tasty addition to any health conscious person's diet and can make many other foods even tastier with their addition. Grapefruit
Eating grapefruit has long been a staple of dieters. It is a fruit that is high in fiber yet low in calories. The best grapefruit for you are the red or pink type. So if you have a choice, opt for these instead of the white variety. There is a lot of fiber packed into the strings that attach the grapefruit segments, so do yourself a favor and don’t use a spoon to scoop out the tasty flesh.
You can add blueberries to a salad, cereal or ice cream or use them to make your fruit smoothie even more delicious. Adding blueberries to your diet whether fresh or frozen is a great nutritional step for you to take.

Nothing Like A Vegetarian Diet
These days you will find many people looking for options for making their diet rich in nutrients. One of the important driving forces behind a completely healthy diet is the food pyramid. The food pyramid is like a tool that will ensure that you have a healthy diet. There are different ways of illustrating a healthy diet plan but the most accepted way is in the shape of the pyramid. Food pyramids have been used by dieticians and even doctors for outlining different food groups as well as food choices, which will lay the foundation for a healthy intake of food if taken in right proportion.
The food pyramid
The food pyramid is in a triangular shape that highlights what all you need to focus on when you are selecting your food. At the base of the pyramid is the food that you need to take in bigger amounts and the food at the top of the pyramid should be consumed in lesser quantities. Today there are several types of food pyramids available and this might confuse you as you might not know which ones to choose. But the good thing is that the basic principles of different food pyramids are same and focus on the following:
1. Eat as much fruits as possible with fresh vegetables and whole grains
2. Reduce the intake of trans fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol as much as possible
3. Limit the intake of salt and sweets
4. Avoid alcohol or drink in moderation
5. Control the total number of calories consumed by you on a daily basis
6. Physical activity is a must
Foods mentioned in a food pyramid are always defined under different categories like meat, poultry and dairy products. This is meant to help you in making the right food choice. You have to remember that there is no single food that can replace everything else but vegetable definitely provide the maximum nutrients that is required by the human body.
One of the best ways to take care of your nutritional needs is through a well-planned vegetarian diet. If you change to a vegetarian diet then it will consist of mostly fresh vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, seeds and nuts. Since meat is not a part of a vegetarian diet hence, they will contain less of cholesterol and fat and will be high on fibers.

New Product Proven to Keep Foods Fresher Longer
What causes food to go bad? All fruits, vegetables and cheese produce a natural gas called ethylene, which causes ripening.
If you keep your produce wrapped or in a sealed container, you are actually accelerating the ripening process because the ethylene gas gets trapped inside. In addition, certain foods such as onions and garlic produce odors that transfer to other foods and dairy products, causing them to lose their freshness and flavor.
A new product called "Forever Fresh For The Fridge" has been proven to absorb ethylene gas, keeping produce fresh at least twice as long as normal and eliminating refrigerator odors. Two independent testing laboratories have tested Forever Fresh For The Fridge and verified its effectiveness.
"Since I started using Forever Fresh all my fruits and vegetables stay fresher longer, like strawberries, which used to last just a couple of days, now they last a couple of weeks," said Nancy McKimson of Jacksonville, Fla.
Forever Fresh For The Fridge consists of two small pouches: One goes on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator and absorbs ethylene gas, slowing down the ripening process and keeping produce fresh at least twice as long as normal; the second pouch goes on the top shelf of the refrigerator and absorbs food odors. Food stays fresh for up to 30 days longer.
"I used to make salads and throw out the leftover in a couple of days if we hadn't eaten them because they turned brown and shriveled up," said Jane Burke of Morristown N.J. "Now I just put the leftover back in the refrigerator and it stays fresh for about a week."
The company also makes all- natural order eliminators. Forever Fresh Odor Eliminator, Pet Odor Eliminator and Vehicle Odor Eliminator are each made of a blend of highly absorbent minerals.
Unlike chemicals, sprays and fragrances - which only cover up odors, last for a short time and can be harmful to people with allergies or asthma - Forever Fresh absorbs and eliminates odors.
In tests conducted by Rutgers University, the Forever Fresh products eliminated strong odors, such as cigarette smoke, ammonia, paint thinner, alcohol, garlic, cooking odors and more.

Nascar Races: Hot Tips to Car Racing
What to Look For While Betting on NASCAR
Auto racing such as Formula One and other races such as the Indy 2000 are big hits internationally. Millions of fans crowd stadiums to watch the different cars race by. The screech of burning tires as they spin by you is an experience that very few forget.
NASCAR is one of the largest racing organizations in the USA. With millions of fans around the country, and some of the most expensive race cars and teams put together you can see how NASCAR and betting go together like peas in a pod. But today we are going to talk about the teams crews.
The great thing about NASCAR is that it is an individual sport and a team sport at the same time. So when we start talking about sports betting, or race betting, the options that we have are spread out and full of potential, although we are going to focus on the teams part today.
Now on any given day a NASCAR driver can come back from last place and win a long and tough race. Certain things must happen for a gambler to win his bet just like certain things must happen for a circumstance like this to take place. This is where the team comes into play.
Sports betting and betting on NASCAR is and around the clock job; the teams mechanics are working on the cars days in a row to get ready for the start time, changing fuel capacities, and tuning up the engines due to weather conditions as well as fitting the correct tires to the surface. A teams crew can make all the difference on race day whether that driver will win or lose. If the car is not running at full capacity due to some over looked object that needed tweaking, the driver may lose serious horsepower from his engine and lose valuable seconds here and there on the track.
Now again in NASCAR there is so much telemetry and science that go into these cars; that the teams will drive a car all the way to the finish line burning off fumes to maybe win the race, or have the race blown because the car ran out of fuel after the last turn. The amount of gas they carry in the car determines weight, how fast the car will move under certain conditions and for how long the car will travel without needing to refuel.
This is what can make betting on NASCAR races so interesting is the amount of variables and how they change minutely due to a change in air temperature or how the sun is beating down upon the asphalt or what wind speeds from which direction.
I hope that this article helps you understand better the ins and outs of car racing in general and NASCAR races in particular. If you are not a fan, try and visit one of the tracks while a race is in progress. It will astound you. If you wish to learn more about auto racing or about the NASCAR race circuit visit http://www.gambling-portal.com/auto-racing.html and have a ball.

Napa Valley: olives and olive oil
The history of olives and olive oil can be traced back to at the least biblical times. When the waters of the great flood subsided and Noah sent forth a dove it was an olive leaf she returned carrying in her mouth. It is known that as long as 6000 years ago olive oil was used as fuel in lamps. Maybe it was this olive oil that created such a beautiful Genie for Major Anthony Nelson to rescue in the popular television sitcom I Dream of Genie.
Today in modern grocery stores there are dozens of gourmet olives widely available. Gone are the days of canned olives with pimentos as the only choices. For those of us who remember the days of opening a can of black olives and placing one on each finger then systematically biting them off here is the new olive.
Nicoises: Is a earthy rich olive commonly used in salad. The curing of this olive in red-wine vinegar gives it a distinctive taste.
Green olives with herbs de Provence: This vibrant citrus flavored olive is a delightful blend of herbs de Provence spices and large green olives. It is an excellent choice to use in surf dishes and with sweet spices.
Mount Athos green with Sicilian herbs: This is a second olive that utilizes herbs to dominate the pallet. Rosemary, garlic, mustard seed, and red pepper flakes give this olive a spicy appeal.
Mount Athos green stuffed with garlic: For a modern twist on the martini this olive is an excellent choice. It is stuffed with rich flavorful garlic and lends itself well to pizza as well as martinis.
Mount Athos green olives with sun-dried tomatoes: Sun-dried tomatoes give this heavy olive an intense flavor that is sophisticated and ideal for snacking.
Sun-dried olives: The drying of this olive gives it a rich flavor that blends wonderfully in sauces for serving over pasta.
Kalamatas: A tangy black olive cured in red-wine vinegar that can be from Italy or California. The California variety is denoted with a 'c' spelling rather than a 'k'.
Alfonsos: This robust winey tasting olive is soft and similar to the kalamata. It is a popular choice in antipasto salads.
Halkididis: Very similar in flavor to the kalamatas this olive is excellent blended with cream cheese and garlic for a flavorful dip.
Lucques: This meaty buttery olive contains pits but is still a wonderful choice with provolone cheese and bruchetta.

Mudarse a Otro Pais

Mistakes Vegetarians Make
This may seem a bit shocking, but many new vegetarians actually gain weight when they stop eating meat. As a vegetarian, you must adjust to an entirely new vegetarian food pyramid. Years of eating patterns must be re-programmed.
The golden rule of vegetarianism is that you need protein to feel full. If you’re still hungry after a meal, then you probably didn’t eat enough protein. Many new vegetarians gain weight because they find themselves not getting full after a meal. In turn, they eat more and start snacking.
Vegetarian meat substitutes
As a new vegetarian, you must make an active effort to replace meat, not just remove it, from your diet. If you are unsure how to replace meat in your diet, go to the store and buy a few different meat substitutes to try at home. There is a lot more than tofu on the market, so jump in and start sampling. Meat substitutes can typically be found in the frozen food, produce, or canned food sections.
If you are unhappy with the meat substitutes you’ve chosen, try cooking them differently or try a different brand. Be patient! You will find some you like and others you don’t. While fake meat might smell, look, and taste like the real thing, it will either require significantly more or less cooking time (depending on the product).
Vegetarian protein shakes, bars and powders
To replace meat, consider adding your favorite protein shake, bar, or powder to your daily routine. While meat substitutes are easy to add to your routine, they do not typically contain enough protein to satisfy your total daily requirement. To supplement the fake meat in your diet, you will need to diversify.
Many protein supplements are best consumed for breakfast. With most people skipping breakfast anyway, a quick protein drink or bar is an easy way to get your morning boost and your protein. If you’ve tried different protein powders and bars and not been pleased, try a Slim Fast or Boost type drink. They taste like chocolate milk (or strawberry, vanilla, etc.), and they don‘t have the pastiness or heaviness of other protein products. Boost makes a “High Protein” drink that contains 15 grams of protein, which isn’t exactly a steak, but makes for a nice and easy vegetarian breakfast.
Don’t forget to vary your proteins. Most meat substitutes are made of soy. Try to therefore consume a protein product that includes whey as well. Many new vegetarians add “egg white powder” to protein smoothies they make. Remember, all the protein is in the yolk!
How to order at a restaurant the vegetarian way
Among the new habits you must develop as a vegetarian, you will need to re-learn how to order at a restaurant. Do not ask a wait person, for example, if they can recommend a vegetarian dish. Why?
Because “vegetarian” to some means no red meat, to others it means no chicken broth or lard. Instead, ask the wait person specifically for what you want. There is nothing worse than not asking for specifics and then being served something you’re not going to eat. You will soon discover the best restaurants for your new diet in your area. Many restaurants now have vegetarian sections on their menus. Take advantage of these with the same caveats as above.
Always be prepared!
As a new vegetarian, you may find yourself over at a friend’s house at meal time with nothing to eat. You don’t want your host to have to make you something special, so be prepared. Carry a jar of almonds, cashews, or peanuts in the car. They are high in protein, won’t melt (like many protein bars), and don’t have expiration dates. Having an alternative snack with you at all times will help you reduce temptations to have meat and fast food and will make eating away from home less stressful.

Midsummer House
Another award comes to Midsummer House this year in the guise of the BMW Square Meal Award for Best Out-of-Town Restaurant 2005. Midsummer House is in good company, the previous winners of this award being Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons (2001), The Waterside Inn (2002), The Vineyard at Stockcross (2003) and The Fat Duck (2004). This award is particularly special as it's decided not only by the Square Meal team of reviewers, but also by their readers, who provide Square Meal with their own verdicts on restaurants around the country.
Having also been awarded it’s second Michelin Star this year, Midsummer House has firmly established itself on the culinary map.
Midsummer House is the only additional two-star restaurant in this year’s guide and remains the only Michelin star restaurant in East Anglia. Midsummer received its first Michelin Star in 2002 and the team has been working towards receiving this second star ever since. Having recently undergone a major refurbishment and having new menus created, Midsummer House certainly deserves this prestigious accolade.
Clifford’s cooking is based upon a sound grounding in French technique and he constantly seeks to improve and innovate: low temperature cooking, jellies, foams and unexpected contrasts of taste, texture and temperature. A research kitchen has recently been added to the building in which Clifford experiments with new ingredients, processes and dishes. A plasma screen has also been installed in the private dining room so guests can watch their choice of dishes being prepared, a rare opportunity to watch the ‘man of genius’ at work.
Chef/Patron Clifford, who started his career as a kitchen assistant at Canterbury College comments, “I have worked towards this award for many years and am delighted that along with my team all our efforts have been recognised.”

Middle Eastern Cuisine
‘Middle eastern cuisine’ is a broad term that encompasses many different cooking styles from a number of different countries. Moroccan, Syrian, Greek, Arabian – the various cuisines of the middle east share a great deal – and have many differences.
The food of the Middle East is a celebration of life. No matter which country, the staples are the fresh fruits and vegetables that grow in the hills. The spices and flavorings of Middle Eastern food are those that awaken the senses, sparkling against the thicker, richer tastes of the main ingredients. Mints, lemon, garlic, rosemary – all have a fresh, astringent quality that cleanses the palate and refreshes the taste buds. Throughout the region, the cuisine varies – but these things remain the same: fresh ingredients, astringent and piquant spices, olive oil, and little meat.
Lebanese
The tiny country – about the size of Connecticut – is nestled into the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, at the very crook of the fertile Crescent. Its contributions to the cuisine of the entire Middle Eastern region of the world are unmistakable. The flavors that spice the foods of all the surrounding lands can be found here in abundance – olive oil, lemon, garlic and mint. Lebanese cuisine features such staples as kibbeh (ground lamb with bulghur wheat) and tabouleh (parsley, mint and bulghur wheat salad). The food is simply prepared, with the flavors blending together into a complex medley of earthy, fruity tastes and scents.
Syrian
If Syria had contributed nothing else to the world cuisine but pita bread and hummus, it would still be worthy of note. There’s far more to the cuisine of this small Middle Eastern country, though. Baba ganoush (pureed eggplant), stuffed olives and figs, peppers in olive oil – Syrian food celebrates the fruits of the earth and blends them to bring out the textures and flavors in surprising ways. Shish kebab and rice pilaf are two of the more well-known dishes, and while most people think of Greece when they hear baklava, the Syrian claim that it is based on their own dessert of batwala.
Arabian
The Bedouin of the desert once based their diets on dates and yoghurt with the occasional camel or goat to provide meat. Over the centuries, the nomadic tribes incorporated spices, meats and vegetables from other cultures into their cuisine. Today’s Arabian cuisine is a mingling of influences from India, Lebanon and further west. Lamb is the meat most often used in cooking, and it is prepared in a number of ways including shish kebab, spit-roasted, or stewed. The cuisine relies heavily on mint, turmeric, saffron, garlic and sesame. Rice and kasha are the most commonly consumed grains, and the spicing is fresh and astringent – meant to awaken and refresh the palate rather than burn it out.
Throughout the Mediterranean Middle East, the cultures and people have intermingled and carried with them their foods and traditions of eating. In no other place in the world can there be found a blending of cultures that has mingled so much – yet maintained such distinct, national flavors. Healthful, fresh, delicious and life-enhancing, it’s little wonder that the cuisine of the Middle East is among the most popular with diners the world over.

Marriage Counseling: Using Games to Reduce Tension
Marriage is one of the most enjoyable but also one of the most painful experiences that people undergo. It carries with it the whiff of romance and eternal bliss, but sometimes you get a pack of thorns instead.
How Do You Ensure Your Marriage Is a Bed of Roses and not Thorns?
One of the major ingredients that a happy marriage needs is a willingness to compromise. But that is much more difficult than it seems. Everyone will agree that they need to compromise, but what happens when the issue is not a simple and tiny one? What then? Who Compromises first? I am sure you must have said to yourself at one point or another that enough is enough. You will no longer be the patsy. You are an independent person and your partner has crossed the line. Maybe.
Maybe your relationship has died and you are just beginning to realize it. Maybe your sentiments are more passionate than romantic. Maybe you no longer love her.
Stop being a fool!
What if I told you that the solution to your marital strife is not divorce. Am I mad?
Look around. How many divorces do you know? Plenty. Me too. But are they really happier off?
What is the first thing that a divorced person does? He or she goes out and starts looking for partners.
Isn't that strange? No. You say that everybody needs somebody to love. Maybe. I say that they had that somebody and they just let them go. So please stop being foolish.
Why not tackle your problems with a simple suggestion? A Game.
Games as a Peace Maker:
Playing brings out the child in us and causes us to express more than we normally would. We also release bottled up frustration and let go of mental thorns in our outbursts of joy and anguish as we win or lose. Games unite people together and therefore I suggest playing together but if you wish one can play against the other. The game turns into a battle but only this time, after its over, you will both feel refreshed from losing all that bottled up pain and anger.
Games to Pick From:
Try picking games that both of you like or at least somewhat active ones. You could even play hide and seek in the house or something else. If you do prefer playing cards, pick a game which does not go on for long and which requires some thinking like hearts, poker, bridge or rummy. Keep score and determine before hand that the loser has to do something for the winner. Chores is not a prize for the winner! If you lose you have to do something that that the other person wants for themselves like give them their favorite massage or cook them their favorite meal.
Conclusion:
Games are a welcome ambrosia to love and will excite you as a couple to disregard all your frustrations and anger and deal only with the good. The anger and frustrations will not magically disappear, but now you can deal with them together calmly and in a good mood.

Manufacturing Flavored Coffee Beans
The sprouting of specialty coffee shops has stirred many people worldwide into drinking coffee. Even multi-national coffee shop companies have decided to go head on and open coffee shops in China where tea is very popular amongst hot beverages.
The flavored coffee bean sector has tripled or even quadrupled its sales volume for the past few decades when people have realized the rich complementary flavor of flavored coffee beans. Coffee experts would view the flavoring of the coffee as an enhancement of what really is the true coffee flavor and not to overpower it.
Many have come to love their favorite flavored coffee bean but only a few have come to see and share what really goes behind in making it.
Processing of the beans
The common method of processing the coffee bean is the dry method. The harvested beans are laid on the dryer and are exposed to the sun for it to dehydrate. Through milling, the coffee bean is then separated from the plant or other debris. The next step is roasting the beans. Roasting can have five different levels of roast which are commonly known as the following: American Roast, Viennese Roast, Italian Roast, French Dark Roast, and Espresso Black Roast.
Adding the Flavor to the Beans
The best type of roast where a flavor can be appreciated is the medium roast. The flavor is just right to be tasted without sacrificing the roasted coffee’s taste nor having too powerful a roast to be flavored with. Having a mild roasted coffee bean flavored can raise the coffee’s taste to be lost with the flavoring and a dark roasted coffee can trample the flavoring added to it.
An industry wide practice is to limit the flavoring oil to only 2 – 3% of the total weight of the processed batch to have a good balance of taste and aroma between coffee roast and flavoring.
Packing the Flavored Coffee Beans
After the mixing process, the flavored coffee beans are packed in foiled packages to ensure freshness and seal all the oils inside to preserve that rich taste, texture and aroma. Since the process of roasting coffee beans releases the essential oils and may stale quickly, packing these beans must be done as quickly as possible so that it won’t be exposed to the atmosphere and to ensure that the packaging is oxygen free as possible.
To ensure fresh flavored brewed coffee, the processed roast must be consumed within two to three weeks from its manufacture date and must be stored in a cool, dark place.

Making Quality Wine
Wine is a very wide spread term that is simply fruit being distilled and fermented for the product of an alcoholic drink. When most people think of wine they immediately think grapes, but there are so many different sources for wine production these include rice (sake), various fruits (elderberry, grapefruit, cherry, etc.), barley, and even honey (mead).
For the purposes of this wine article we will stick with wines produced solely from grapes. These are categorized by several means, of which include vinification methods, taste and lastly vintage. Many unknowing wine drinkers wouldn't care about the subtle differences in these categories, after all, most people rely completely on the taste of the wine. However, for many aficionados out there wine is a very intense passion. Their wines must always meet the highest expectations everything must be spot on, the variety of the grape, the taste and vintage must all meet the highest standard before serious wine connoisseur's will consider purchasing a bottle.
Vinification
Vinification is the process by which grape juice is fermented into wine. This fermentation process is what determines the quality of the the wine and this is what gives the wine it value. A common misconception by the novice wine drinker is the colour of the grape juice varies, this is not so as the juice from a grape (red or white) is almost a clear liquid. What does determine the color of the wine is whether the grape skins have been fermented with the wine or were they left out, red wines are fermented with there skins on and with white wine the skins have been left off and as for rose wine, well it is just a combination of the two wines
Sparkling wines and champagne are carbonated, this is where carbon dioxide is enter into the mix, this process is achieved by fermenting the grape juice twice. The first time, the juice is fermented in open containers, which allow the carbon dioxide to escape and with the second fermentation, the juice is kept in closed containers, trapping and infusing the C02 with what is then wine.
Taste
Most wines are described as dry, off-dry, fruity, or sweet. This is a direct result of the amount of sugar that is left over after the fermentation process has ended, Dry wine has very little sugar content, while a sweeter wine has a higher sugar content.
Beyond this basic taste analysis, wine-tasting enthusiasts have developed a system of wine classification, this entails the more in depth the tastes and the more aromas the wine gives off. Many less informed on wine find this system hard to grasp, but the seasoned wine drinker consider the ability to discern even the most subtle elements of a wines taste to be a great achievement. As one example, Cabernet Sauvignon which is a very popular wine that tasters claim contains a combination of black currants, chocolate, mint, and tobacco flavors.
Vintage
Vintage is a straight forward classification when wine is concerned, this refers to the year of the grapes harvest from which the wine was produced. This is important because many grape growers have exceptionally good harvests only during certain years. Also, the best grapes are usually singled out for use in a producers vintage bottles. You get the highest quality wine from that year’s harvest.

Low Carb Ice Cream
As the low carb diet continues to create a booming impact to its dieters, the low carb diet arena then began to produce after the exciting six-part series of frozen desserts, and included in this food trend is the making of the reduced sugar and low carb ice creams.
Speaking of low carb ice cream, there are some low carb ice creams that can not be technically called “low carb ice cream” due to their cream contents, however, they are still low carb ice cream alike. Fortunately, the ice cream companies are now working hard to provide the ice cream consumers with frozen desserts that have reduced sugar contents, which ultimately reduce the products’ calorie and carbohydrate contents.
And one of the good news that accompanied the production of the low carb ice cream is that most of the reduced sugar desserts really taste yummy. However, there are some studies which noted that reduced sugar does not eventually mean the treat is low in fat. But despite that possibility for the low carb ice cream, there are still some frozen desserts that are both low in fat and carbohydrates.
It is as well interesting to know that many studies about the low carb ice cream have considered that only half a cup of the low carb ice cream is a reasonable serving. However, it is still considerable that even if an ice cream carton trumpets that has low sugar or calorie levels, or has no added sugar, or even has low carbohydrates, they might have probably fat contents that would contribute a bad effect.
So if you are one of those who love low carb ice creams, following are several low carb ice creams that are best recommended for family preference.
One of the noted best recommended low carb ice cream is the Edy’s No Sugar Added Triple Chocolate low carb ice cream. Many who have tasted this low carb frozen dessert have considered it as low in fat, low in sugar, and tastes so yummy. And in fact, there are fudge sauce swirls in this chocolate ice cream.
And also of great interest is the Vanilla Ice Cream that can really be considered as a low carb ice cream for the fact that it contains a lower carbohydrates count for two carbohydrates per serving. This particular low carb frozen dessert is made by these ingredients: five egg yolks, a cup of Splenda, 1 and ¼ cups of heavy cream that is whipped.
All of these mentioned low carb ice creams are really considered as nice favorite treats. So you can keep yourself and slim down with these low carb frozen desserts.

Low Carb Beer For Dieters
As the low carb diet becomes so popular throughout the world, many companies especially the brewery companies have come to consider some of the necessary products for any sports and games, and interestingly, one of the essential products for any game trend is the low carb beer.
The emergence of the low carb beer is generally caused by the action that the beer industry has taken. Accordingly, the beer industry has responded to the low carb trend and that is by rolling out the low carb beers. The low carb beer is considered to have a reduced carb count, however, this does not ultimately mean as reduced flavor for the reason that it is all in your mouth.
In relation to that, it is noted that for years, the followers of Atkins diet and other low carb regimens have had to turn clear of beer for the purpose of maintaining the carbohydrate minimums. Now Michelob has made the some development in the brewery industry and have been enjoying a drink while following a low carb deit easier. And interestingly this was made perfect with the introduction of Michelob Ultra, a low carb, and low calorie beer.
Unlike the regular beer that contains 145 calories, the low carb beer contains for about 95 calories only that is why many reviews have considered it as a marketing trick. Speaking of the carbohydrates, when it comes to the low carb beers, the carbohydrates are another factor. Essentially, the regular beer usually contains 11 grams of carbohydrates, but then the low carb beers can in fact drop that to as little as 2.6 grams of carbohydrates. With such contents, a single bottle is then compared with some of the popular beers like Stella Artois, Grolsch, and Smirnoff Ice which have pretty much carbohydrates and calorie contents.
Today, given the facts about the basic contents of the low carb beers, it is noted that this certain product is now one of the requirements for any trendy game party. Perhaps, with this kind of product, all the girls will think that you’re such a doll for taking their favorite low carb beer. And as a matter of fact, most of the guys nowadays think that having this kind of requirement makes you pretty cool and great.
And perhaps, one of the reasons that most people took this kind of product is that they are obviously health conscious. Well, the thought of bearing this product at your trendy party is just a typical thing. So if you want to have a cool party experience, then you go for the low carb beer.

Loose Leaf Tea and the Tea Room – A Valuable Partnership
The growth in demand for high quality loose leaf tea is spectacular and all indications are that the trend will continue for the foreseeable future. As more loose leaf tea enthusiasts consume greater quantities of tea, the relationship between tea suppliers and the tea room increases in importance.
Tea rooms are critically important to suppliers of loose leaf tea because the tea room bundles high quality loose leaf tea with other food products, services and an ambiance that create a very pleasurable tea experience. This addition of value is essential to the growth of the loose leaf tea market in the United States
Many high quality tea rooms create an intimate and attractive experience for the drinking of tea outside of the home. Historically tea has represented a total experience with social, cultural, and even spiritual aspects and high quality tea rooms offer a broad choice of loose leaf teas, complimentary food products like sandwiches, fruit, and pure water beverages in a pleasant, warm environment. The basic element in the relationship between the tea supplier and the tea room however, is quality loose leaf tea.
Loose leaf tea is all about quality and service. The owner of the tea room makes a substantial investment of time and resources including the choice of an attractive location, high quality furnishings and staff in order to create a quality brand. In order to maintain the integrity of the tea room brand the basic tea offering must be one of consistent high quality.
Quality tea rooms often look to increase the quality of tea and then maintain the consistency of the tea offering. In addition a broad product line of teas offered by the supplier offer the tea room’s customers choices and the excitement of new blends and flavors. Many tea rooms are constantly on the look out for new vendors of loose leaf tea because new tea lines are easily integrated into their tea offering.
Generally speaking, the commercial relationship between tea importer suppliers and the tea room is a wholesale one with discounts off of retail provided based on volume of tea purchases. Where the supplier provides marketing and customer support the relationship tends to be close and very profitable for both parties.
What Should Tea Rooms Look for in A Tea Supplier?
There are a number of tea suppliers in the marketplace but not all are the same. Some of the characteristics of the best tea suppliers from a tea room perspective are:
• High quality loose leaf tea recognized in the marketplace
• A commitment to the tea room industry
• A commitment to quality that is evidenced by tea cupping of each bulk shipment import
• A broad product offering that includes varietals, blends and flavored teas
• An e-commerce site with features that provide easy ordering, flexibility of delivery and good prices
• Marketing support including information about tea and tea commerce
• Open lines of communication that solicit feedback from tea room customers
• The highest quality customer service and a dedication to tea room customer satisfaction
The relationship between tea rooms and tea suppliers is one of the mainstays of the loose leaf tea industry. Relationships that are based upon the highest tea quality and premium customer support and service will be valuable to both parties in the transaction.

Lobster Tales In Choosing The Best
Lobster, lobster recipes, lobster tails, maine lobster, soft shelled lobsters, green lobsters, and red lobsters. The choices seem endless when it comes to lobsters. But hard core aficionados have stated again and again that all it takes is a little know-how and the most simple and practical solutions to fully enjoy this king crustacean. Below is a simple guide for choosing lobsters for your palate.
Color, gender, shell texture, and age are the basic choices lobster, lobster recipes, lobster tails, maine lobster fans and cooks alike face when picking their lobsters. There are basically two colors to choose from: the red or the green lobster. There is no debate in this since they basically taste the same. The subtlety of the difference between their flavors are effectively masked by the butter sauce. A more pressing choice is the choice of getting which gender. Lobstermen agree that the female is a better choice. Female lobsters may have roes, or unfertilized eggs which are tasty and considered as delicacy. Also, female lobsters have more tail breadth which means more meat. They need the extra size for carrying the eggs. How to tell a male from female lobster? Aside from the added breadth, females' swimmerets (the appendages under the tale) are light and feathery unlike the males' which are bony and hard. Another issue still in debate is the choice between getting soft shelled or hard shelled crustacean kings. This is usually settled by preference. Lobsters with soft-shells have just undergone moulting, which means that their shells are easily breakable. This translates to easier cooking and eating. Their flesh are also deemed to be sweeter-tasting. However, these soft and sweet lobsters are not without disadvantage. They are not good for traveling because of the delicate condition of their shells. Hard shells are then preferred when a lobster is expected to travel long distances especially in delivery. Hard shell lobsters are also bigger and meatier.
Though, lobstermen, fish market operators, and chefs agree that the choice of lobster is basically dependent on the consumers' preference, the method of preparation is still a big factor in choosing lobsters. Chefs and cooks usually choose their lobsters based on how they plan to prepare it. In planning to do whole lobster, lobster recipes, lobster tails, maine lobster specialties, or seafood soups, the kind of lobster to be used is vital. Hard shells are usually preferred for rough cooking like grilling, roasting, or baking as their shells can withstand the heat. Soft shells are usually prepared by steaming to avoid causing damage to the delicate shell. Females are preferred for soups and other savory dishes because of the added flavor of their roes. Male lobsters are best eaten boiled. Yet, almost everybody agrees, that with lobster, you can't go wrong with butter!

Let's Party! Celebrating Women's Friendship and Food
As women, we're usually responsible for getting dinner on the table; often we don't take the time to thoroughly enjoy the meals and feasts we create for our families. And, between work and family obligations, it's hard for us to find time to get together with our girlfriends. Yet, friendships need nurturing and attention in order to thrive and grow. One of the best ways to enjoy good food and good friends is to set aside one day a month for a women-only get together.
While it's fun to go out with your girlfriends, it's really more relaxing to meet at someone's house. You can let your hair down, laugh as loudly as you'd like, and not have to worry about splitting the tab. Here, then are five great ideas for "girlfriend time."
1. An afternoon of pie. As women, baking together is a tradition that goes back for generations. Spend a Saturday afternoon baking a pie with your friends. Each person can lend a hand in making the pie, and then everyone can have a glass of wine and catch up while the pie's baking. Once it's out of the oven, you can all share in eating your creation.
2. An evening of bunco. If you've never played bunco, you won't understand the sheer fun and silliness of this dice game. You can look it up online, but all it takes is twelve competitive women, nine dice, scratch paper, and six pencils. My bunco group has been playing once a month for about eight years now, and it takes a force of nature to keep us from our monthly game. We take turns hosting the evening and making a pre-game dinner for our friends. Each of us has our specialties and we all look forward to Lynn's famous enchiladas, to Sherry's chicken and broccoli casserole, and Cindy's barbecue tri-tip. Each of us hosts one month a year, and the other eleven months we get to enjoy each other's cooking.
3. An afternoon of tea. Tea parties enjoyed a resurgence in popularity a few years ago, and in our over-caffeinated world there are still plenty of reasons to relax over tea and crumpets (or scones, or cucumber sandwiches). An afternoon tea party with friends is all the more fun if everyone dresses the part and you can come up with some lace doilies to add to the decor. Don't forget the teacakes!
4. A dinner club. A dinner club is perfect for girlfriends who are serious foodies. Set aside one night each month and alternate hosting duties, then select a cuisine for each month. The hostess provides the main course, and assigns a recipe to each of the other members, who make the dishes and bring them in this sophisticated potluck. It can work with four friends, but six is the perfect number.
5. Brunch with a twist. Almost by definition, brunch is a wonderful, leisurely meal. To keep the stress level down, make it a potluck - with a twist. Like the Food Network's "Iron Chef America" series, come up with a unique ingredient and ask each friend to use that ingredient in her dish. If you have adventuresome friends, make the secret ingredient something exotic. You can even have each person assign scores to each dish based on taste, plating, and originality in the use of the secret ingredient. As they say on the show, "Whose cuisine will reign supreme?"
Women, friends, and food are an unshakable combination. Make time for friends and food, and you'll nurture both yourself and your friends. Bon appetit!

Laws Governing Organic Products
The potential of modern organic farming is thus largely unrealized, but organic and local food markets are reaching a tipping point. The rise of organic farming has been driven by small, independent producers, and by consumers. The organic movement has developed in response to a growing demand for organic products.
In the 1980s around the world, various farming and consumer groups began seriously pressuring for government regulation of organic production. The federal government began taking the first steps toward regulating organic, and so-called natural foods.
In late 1999, the USDA finally issued a first proposed draft of national organic standards. It was obvious the trend was growing in 2000, when for the first time more organic food was sold in conventional supermarkets than in farmers markets or food cooperatives. The first goal for regulation was to define organic and suggest standards to define organic foods. Unlike other forms of sustainable farming, organic farming has common standards which are legally enforced and which ensure environmental, animal welfare, and health benefits. Currently all food producers, including organic farmers and processors, must comply with local, state and federal health standards.
National standards for organic food production are now well established and consumers can be confident in the organic label. Some US States passed their own laws regarding organic produce. Iowa passed Chapter 190 in 1990, and established penalties for producers falsely identifying their products as organic. This is not lost on consumers and about 70 per cent of people now buy organic food at least occasionally, although it only accounts for 1 per cent of food sales.
The organic effort is global and in 108 countries, there is certified organic agriculture that's being produced and exported.

Laughing at the Indian Cricket Team
Indian cricket is headed for a disastrous World Cup and only those who wish to bury their head in the sand can think that they will do well there. The pitches in West Indies are fast and the players (who anyway have a tough time on such pitches) will succumb easily. They will advance (I truly hope so) to the next round by beating the weak teams but they will lose once again to the strong ones and they will find ourselves out and forgotten very soon. So instead of feeling sad, the only thing left for the fans to do is to joke about them. So here goes!
The story goes that there was a couple married for quite some time and they had a boy of 5-6 years old. Their relationship was turning sour. So finally it reached such a stage that they thought it was better for them to be divorced than to carry on such a relationship.
So they consulted a lawyer. But the big question was who would have the kid. In the hearing in the court it was decided that this choice should be left to their son. So the judge asked "Son, would you like to stay with your mummy?"
The kid replied," No, mummy beats me."
So the judge asked "Then, would you like to stay with your papa?"
The kid replied, "No, papa beats me too."
Now the judge was in a dilemma and was not able to decide what to do. After pondering for some time he smiled with the ideas he had in his mind about the child.
And he gave the judgment that the kid would stay with
Any guesses?
Come on I know you can guess this.
Ok here is the decision: The judge decided that the kid would stay with the Indian Cricket Team because they never beat anybody.
And here are some one liners to pipe up your day:
Why do Indian babies cry and complain all the time?
They are practicing how to become Indian cricketers when they grow up.
What is an handcuffed Indian Cricketer called?
A cricketer you can trust.
What are the four words that will destroy any Indian batsman?
Did you bat today?
Why doesnt the crowd blink when Tendulkar goes out to bat?
There just is no time until he gets out again.
What is the difference between an Indian batsman and an Australian one?
100 runs.
What is the difference between batteries and Indian cricketers?
Batteries have a positive side.
How do you force Indian cricketers to run between wickets?
You place food on either end.
Yes, I know that some of these jokes are really putting the Indian team down but considering their recent form (excluding the recent two victories against West Indies which I think is more of a fluke than anything else), I felt that I could say such things.
I cannot understand how such players such as Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid and the rest can let the fans down time and again. Sometimes it seems that they are not really interested in playing and that they gamble away their wicket easily. If that is the case then they should leave and let other more able and willing youngsters take a shot. They will not fare much worse in any case. What will they do? Lose. They lose anyway and to any cricket playing nation in the world!
